It has been really hot here so we have spent a lot of time in the pool, trying to stay cool. Riley decided last week that he could jump into the pool like all the big kids. At this point we had not got him a lifejacket, because he was still using his baby rafts. Well, he showed us by jumping into the deep end without any lifejacket. He was unphased by his rescue and continued to attempt more jumps. Needless to say, I rushed to Target and got him a life jacket. He didn't like it at first, but now he is jumping with all the big boys and loving it! He is also making good progress on his swimming. He now can use his arms very well, but struggles to kick and use his arms at the same time. We are so proud of him for being so brave and going full force into the water!

RILEY'S DEBUT AT DODGERS STADIUM!
We went to the L.A. Dodgers game last night at Dodgers Stadium. Riley seemed to really enjoy his first baseball game. He couldn't get over the crowd and how everybody clapped at the same time! We did lots of clapping and running around! Riley also enjoyed his first "Dodger dog", stadium nachos, and of course chocolate malt. We made it to the 7th inning stretch and then we headed home! It was really fun to see a new stadium and the Dodgers won:)

Our visits to MN and FLA!
Hello! We just got back from visiting MN for three weeks and then Florida for 3 weeks. Along the way we got to see many family and friends and enjoyed catching up with everyone! Riley stayed busy as he went to the Mall of America, Como Zoo, Long Lake Beach, and many other fun new places! Riley also decided he could crawl so he is now doing headstands, and crawling on and over everything! In Florida we visited the Mote Marine Aquarium and saw sharks, dolphins, and big sea rays. Riley spent a lot of time on the beach, running around and enjoying the beautiful view. Auntie Kellie flew in from Boston and got to spend a whole week with her nephew. They danced together and Riley seemed to really get a kick out of his Auntie Kellie. We also got into our new condo, which is really nice! We painted almost the whole place and got new carpeting as well. We are now back in California and starting to plan our move, which is going to be Mid-Sept. Here are a few pictures of our time in MN and FLA. Thanks to everyone for spending time with us, we really enjoyed seeing you all:)

FUN TIMES!
" We went to Santa Monica and I got to go on some rides. I went on the carousel ride right on the pier overlooking the ocean. That was cool! Then mom took me to these water fountains where I got to run through the water and play with all the kids. I am almost one years old, I think that means I can play football soon!"

Cinco de Mayo Party!
" I just went to my first Cinco de Mayo party and it was pretty fun. They had something there called a pinata and I got a yummy sucker. Then I played with all the kids at the playground. I also played in the sand, and I kinda started to throw sand too! For dinner I ate Mexican beans and rice. I met a new friend named Wyatt, who is one day older than me. We are going to get together and play soon."
